We do not, and will not under any circumstances share information entered by our customers with anybody. Similarly we do not send unsolicited e-mails, or any type of unsolicited communications. Period. All information captured is held in a secure environment. We do not store credit card details nor do we share financial details with any 3rd parties

Price

The following are the Terms & Conditions (called "these Terms") for the sale of goods by Megasquirt V8 Ltd, replacing any previous terms and conditions. It is important that you read and understand these Terms before ordering from us, as "The Company" (Megasquirt V8 Ltd) intends to rely upon these Terms. Please read through the Terms carefully before placing your order and then, if you are ordering from our website, you are welcome to print a copy for your future reference.

The details on our websites are not offers that you can accept. The contract between us will be formed once we confirm to you acceptance of your order. We will do this by email for internet orders, by telephone or e-mail for phone orders and for postal orders, until then we will be under no obligation to supply you with the goods you have ordered.

It is your responsibility to verify that your email address is in proper working order and must assume the risk of all consequences for transmission or operational failures

Prices

The price shall be the price quoted on the website except when we make an error or if the price has changed since publication. If we have made an error, then we will inform you of this as soon after you have placed your order as possible and will tell you the correct price and ask you if you still wish to place your order with us. If we have not heard back from you within 10 days, then we will presume that you did not want to place your order again with us and we will give you a full refund if you have already paid.

Payment & Delivery

All orders are dispatched via a range of carriers to ensure you pay the minimum costs. Please note that some delivery items will require a signature on arrival. We will deliver to the address given to us by you at the time you place your order

Payment can be made by the On Line shop system, which covers both PAYPAL and most Major Credit cards but not all, alternatively, payment can be made by an Agreed Bank Transfer (Phone and discuss) or via your cheque via post. If you are paying via cheque - cheques must be payable to "Megasquirt V8 Ltd", and Goods will be despatched upon receipt of cleared funds, which will mean a delay.

Megasquirt V8 Ltd shall have the right to refuse or cancel any order submitted, whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your payment has already been processed and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a refund for the full value of the amount processed.

We will endeavour to dispatch all orders promptly within 4 days, but occasionally, due to manufacturing delays, orders may take up to 28 days for delivery. If your order is urgent please tell us and we will do our best to dispatch it quickly. On very rare occasions some items may be out of stock at the time of order - but we will notify you of the estimated arrival date so you can decide whether or not to proceed with the order. If you decide to cancel due to the delay a full refund will be given or part refund if only part of the order (out of stock) is cancelled.

Internet Security

When using our online store, all information sent to you, and sent by you, is protected by high levels of current browser security. All transactions and communications are encrypted and protected. We use the PayPal System for this very reason.

Warranty

Products are guaranteed for 12 months against faulty workmanship or materials in normal use. (Off road users are usually covered, but at our discretion only). Any guarantee offered covers the original goods supplied only. No consequential loss is covered. Any goods believed faulty must be returned to Megasquirt-V8 Ltd or assessment. Repair or Replacement will be at the discretion of Megasquirt V8 Ltd

With regard to ECUs - Built by us we will support and ensure we do our utmost to resokve any issues up to and including making the engine run on all 8 Cylinders.

With us supplying 'Umbuilt ECUs' we advise this should ONLY EVER be considered if you are an very experienced PCB / Enginner / Electronics whiz, and we do NOT support helping you build it, sort it, fixing issues with your build when you mess it up / advising on whats wrong / issues / fixing it for you / sorting when its stopped working / damages other parts of the Kit when you switch it on etc etc.
If an unassembled ECU we expect and advise you to have the required skills to work through the Megasquirt Mnauals and work out what you need to do

In summary - If you decide to Build your own ECU then any issues problems or consequences from doing such is all down to you - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
ANY doubt whatsoever in your abilities = Buy one built - we are not going to help you when you screw it up trying to save money and then make it out as our fault

Product Liability

All our products are considered non standard fitments and are therefore supplied, fitted and used entirely at the vehicle owner/driver's responsibility. Do not forget to advise and get agreement from your insurance company and any other authorities should your country require such

Legal

These terms and conditions are governed and shall be interpreted in accordance with UK law. If any part of these terms and conditions shall be found to be unlawful it shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder of the conditions.

In respect of consumer sales only, statutory rights are unaffected by these terms and conditions. All prices are displayed Ex VAT in UK £ and Have 20% VAT additionally payable at checkout. Delivery prices are quoted for delivery to mainland UK, and may vary from time to time; please see the website for the current pricing structures. Shipping outside the UK can be arranged - please contact us for prices as these are calculated on both weight and dimensions as well as the destination.

We reserve the right to vary prices as the market and supplier costs demand. We will however honour any quotations given for a period of 30 days. Any price quoted on this web site will be considered correct at the time of order placement.

Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled within 7 working days of an order being placed so long as the goods have not been dispatched. Under exceptional circumstances this limit may be extended or waived. Please contact us for further information.

Returns Policy

Orders may be returned within 15 working days after the goods were received for a full credit or refund in the following circumstances:

• Item was received damaged or defective
• Incorrect item was shipped
• Goods returned must be received in as new condition with original packaging.
• Carriage costs for returning the goods will be your responsibility other than in exceptional circumstances E.g. a bereavement.
• Goods remain your responsibility during transit and until signed for by us.

Faulty Goods

If it is agreed that the goods have been delivered faulty or damaged we will offer you a refund OR a replacement. Specifications and technical details may vary. We will always try to supply the latest and best specification we can.
