Complete Fully Converted 'Standard Metric Pegged Differential' Casing Assembly For Standard LONG NOSE Differentials
This is by far our most popular Pegged Casing.These heavily modified Land Rover Long Nose casings offer a massive increase in strength, (Watch the Technical Video in Video section for an explanation of how they work and how we make them.). All of our Pegged Casing are done by ourselves in house, and have Modifications including 24mm of CNC Machined Steel plate specially TIG welded into place, milled, drilled and tapped M16. These holes then hold the supplied Dog Bolts and our special Phosphor Bronze Pad which supports the CW&P from flexing and seperating. We have had just three of these fail out of 1058 (as at Dec 2022) sold where the Crownwheel was so overloaded it sheared the teeth off the base plate ! On the basis that nothing is unbreakable, this unit + a HD CW&P set properly built up is going to be one of the best you can get for your Land Rover axle (maybe with the exception of further upgrading to the 'Big Bearing' or 'Ultimate' Pegged Casings listed bwlow) !. Just be careful - these do NOT have oil filler holes in the casing - these will fit any Series or Coil Sprung LR axle, just check you have a filler hole in your diff pan !
